Bourns launches shielded power inductor series for DDR5 applications

Bourns, Inc., a manufacturer of electronic components, has introduced the SRP2512CL and SRP3212CL Series Shielded Power Inductors for DDR5 Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) and client DDR5 modules in desktop PCs, notebooks, and tablets. The inductors feature low AC Resistance (ACR) and low DC Resistance (DCR) to meet DDR5 memory technology specifications.
The SRP2512CL and SRP3212CL Series are built with a shielded construction to reduce magnetic field radiation and use a nanocrystalline core to support high current with low buzz noise. The inductors have an operating temperature range of -40 to +125 °C and an inductance range of up to 1.5 microhenries. They are available in 3030 and 2520 package sizes.
Both series are RoHS compliant and halogen-free and are available through Bourns’ authorized distribution partners. More information can be found at bourns.com/products/magnetic-products/power-inductors-smd-shielded.
