MediaTek highlights AI and connectivity solutions at Computex 2025

 MediaTek will showcase its advancements in AI computing at Computex 2025 under the theme “AI for Everyone: From Edge to Cloud.” On May 20, Dr. Rick Tsai, Vice Chairman and CEO, will deliver a keynote addressing AI, 6G, edge, and cloud computing’s roles in digital transformation, focusing on MediaTek’s solutions for connectivity and intelligence across devices.
Joe Chen, President and COO, stated that MediaTek’s portfolio, spanning connectivity, computing, and multimedia, supports AI-driven applications through collaborations with global partners, targeting broader adoption of generative AI.
Hybrid Computing and Connectivity

MediaTek’s hybrid computing concept integrates computing and communications to address information silos in generative AI, enabling collaboration among AI agents. MediaTek will present a 5G Generative AI Gateway, combining its 5G FWA platform with on-device generative AI, offering high performance, privacy, bandwidth, and low latency. The device, selected for the Computex Best Choice Award, completed proof-of-concept trials with a telecommunications infrastructure provider.
