ALKU launches semiconductor division to address industry talent needs
ALKU, a specialty staffing firm, announced the creation of a new division focused on the semiconductor industry. The move aims to meet the growing demand for specialized talent in a sector experiencing increased need due to advancements in AI, supply chain changes, and global competition, particularly for U.S.-based engineering and R&D expertise.
The Semiconductor Division will provide consultants across the semiconductor supply chain, including chip design, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution. It will focus on roles in engineering, hardware and software development, quality assurance, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS). The division targets technical talent shortages, rapid project staffing, onshore engineering and R&D support, and expertise in nanotechnology, chiplets, and embedded systems.
Nick Vignone, Vice President at ALKU, noted the urgent need for niche consultants in the U.S. semiconductor supply chain. Andrew Bull, President of ALKU, stated that talent is a significant constraint in the fast-evolving industry, and the new division aligns with ALKU’s strategy of developing specialized, expert-led divisions.
