STMicroelectronics exhibiting at SEMICON Southeast Asia 2025

STMicroelectronics is participating in the  SEMICON Southeast Asia 2025 from May 20-22 at Booth L1901. The company is showcasing over 10 demonstrations focusing on Edge AI and sensors, wireless connectivity, automotive solutions, and factory automation.

Edge AI & Sensors Demonstrations
AI Assistant: Features an STM32N6 microcontroller with AI capabilities, including gesture recognition using YOLOv8n pose estimation, achieving an inference time of 25 fps.
Robotic Hand Demo: Utilizes the STM32N6 MCU and VD66GY image sensor for gesture recognition, controlling 15 servo motors for real-time gesture tracking via the STM32MP257 PLC board.
Smart Presence/Gesture Control: Employs the VL53L8CX ToF ranging sensor to detect human presence and respond to hand gestures, optimized for low power consumption in ambient light.
ST ISPU with Sliding Discrete Fourier Transform: Demonstrates the Intelligent Sensor Processing Unit (ISPU) in an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), running Sliding Discrete Fourier Transform for condition monitoring in industrial applications.
Biosensors: An accelerometer with a vertical analog front-end and AI core detects biopotentials for ENG, ECG, EEG, heart rate, and motion detection applications.
