Vishay Intertechnology, introduced two new low profile common mode chokes for high current automotive, energy, and industrial applications. Available in both surface-mount and through-hole packages, the Vishay Dale commercial ICMS2321-10 and Automotive Grade ICMS2321-1A provide a heat rating current to 30 A with a 1500 VDC dielectric withstand voltage between coils.

The devices feature a low profile with reduced size and volume. They incorporate an enhanced core design for performance and saturation current at high temperatures up to +150 °C. The common mode chokes have a self-shielded, rugged construction and are intended for use in DC/DC converters, high voltage inverters, EMI filters, and high current filters for noise suppression in motor control and other circuitry. The AEC-Q200 qualified ICMS2321-1A is designated for automotive on-board chargers.
