Tachyum stated that it maintains operational strength, continues development of its Prodigy universal processor, and holds confidence in its legal position regarding a petition filed by BWB LLC and its manager. The company also responded to recent media reports concerning its facilities, financial position, and business operations.

Dr. Radoslav Danilak, Founder and CEO of Tachyum, said the company has continued strong support from existing investors and remains focused on delivering the Prodigy universal processor for AI, cloud computing, high-performance computing, and data center applications. Engineering teams are progressing toward tape-out, the intellectual property portfolio is strong, and the company is advancing financing initiatives.

Prodigy Development Status
Tachyum confirmed that Prodigy processor development remains active and on schedule. Teams in the United States and Europe are working on processor development, software ecosystem expansion, product validation, and commercialization activities. The processor is positioned as a unified platform for AI training, AI inference, cloud workloads, and high-performance computing.

Bratislava R&D Center
The company stated that reports claiming the shutdown of its Bratislava R&D center are false. In October 2025, Tachyum voluntarily relocated the center to new facilities in central Bratislava due to changes in lease conditions and concerns about protection of intellectual property and company data at the prior location. Operations were not discontinued or disrupted, and R&D centers in Bratislava and Sunnyvale have remained operational. Matters with the former landlord have been resolved.

Financial Position
Tachyum disputed claims that it lacks the ability to continue operations. The company is engaging with investors and pursuing multiple strategic funding initiatives. Delays in prior financing transactions resulted from counterparties failing to meet contractual commitments. Tachyum entered a binding agreement with SMP Technology in July 2025 for a planned $220 million investment and has initiated legal proceedings regarding SMP’s alleged failure to perform.

Employee Retention and Czech Operations
The company reported that employee turnover in 2025 and 2026 remained within normal industry ranges and that it has retained necessary personnel for Prodigy development. It continues to recruit engineering talent globally.

Tachyum ended its Czech office activities due to challenges in talent acquisition. A prior insolvency proceeding involving the Czech entity was terminated by the court and withdrawn by the petitioner. The Czech entity carries no material liabilities affecting Tachyum’s operations, finances, or development schedule, as it did not contribute to Prodigy hardware or RTL design.

Response to BWB LLC Petition
Tachyum stated in its legal response that it strongly disagrees with the allegations in the petition filed by BWB LLC. The company considers the claims regarding loss of confidence, corporate purpose, and financial difficulties to be without merit or false.

Key points noted by Tachyum include: BWB has not demonstrated current unpaid debts due and has not demanded repayment; the company continues to pursue financing alternatives and maintains access to financing; affiliated operating entities continue to function and advance product development; and its intellectual property, engineering expertise, and commercialization strategy remain strong. Tachyum believes the petition improperly conflates separate legal entities and mischaracterizes product development efforts.

The company also rejected allegations concerning financial management and communications with BWB, attributing financing challenges to failures by the petitioner and other counterparties to fulfill signed funding commitments.

Tachyum confirmed it is pursuing its objective with the Prodigy processor amid demand for AI infrastructure, sovereign computing, and energy-efficient data centers. For the second half of 2026, the company’s priorities are achieving Prodigy tape-out milestones, expanding strategic financing and partnerships, and accelerating commercialization activities across AI, hyperscale cloud, HPC, and government markets.
