Netrasemi Launches NETRA A2000 Edge AI SoC with Successful Silicon Bring-Up

Netrasemi has launched its flagship Edge AI System-on-Chip, the NETRA A2000, which has completed successful silicon bring-up and is now available for customers. The NETRA A2000 represents several firsts in India. It is the country’s first AI/ML processor developed in India, a Vision SoC with integrated video analytics acceleration, an advanced chip built on the 12nm technology node, and a product developed using an in-house AI and vision IP portfolio.  The A2000 SoC program formally started in 2023, with foundations established through prior investments in in-house silicon IP development and AI-focused chip architecture.

Netrasemi CEO Jyothis Indirabhai stated: "This marks a significant step forward for us and reinforces our confidence in taking our entire family of SoCs to production, built on our common architecture, IP portfolio and the strength of our in-house design capabilities.
