L&T Semiconductor Technologies Signs Master Supply Agreement with Newen Systems for SiC-Based Power Modules in Renewable Energy Applications

L&T Semiconductor Technologies (LTSCT), a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has entered into a Master Supply Agreement (MSA) with Newen Systems Pvt Ltd. The agreement covers the design, development, qualification, and supply of Silicon Carbide (SiC)-based power modules for renewable energy inverter applications.

The partnership focuses on power converter systems used in battery energy storage systems (BESS), solar installations, green hydrogen, and e-mobility applications. It also extends to supporting power needs for new-age data centres and AI model development through existing and upcoming DC solutions. The collaboration aims to address requirements for high-efficiency power conversion in the renewable energy sector.
