NVIDIA Partners with VLSI EDA Vendors Cadence, Siemens, Synopsys on Agentic AI for Semiconductor and Industrial Design at GTC 2026
NVIDIA announced at the GTC 2026 conference in San Jose on March 16 collaborations with industrial software providers Cadence, Dassault Systèmes, PTC, Siemens, and Synopsys to integrate NVIDIA CUDA-X, NVIDIA Omniverse, and GPU-accelerated tools into design, engineering, and manufacturing workflows. The partnerships focus on developing NVIDIA-powered AI agents for planning, optimization, and verification in complex VLSI chip and system designs.

Manufacturers including FANUC, HD Hyundai, Honda, JLR, KION, Mercedes-Benz, MediaTek, PepsiCo, Samsung, SK hynix, and TSMC are adopting these NVIDIA-accelerated solutions. Cloud providers Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) offer NVIDIA GPU-accelerated software for production-scale computational design and engineering. Hardware manufacturers Dell Technologies, HPE, and Supermicro provide NVIDIA-accelerated systems for on-premises and hybrid deployments.
Jensen Huang, NVIDIA founder and CEO, stated during the event: “The dawn of a new industrial revolution has arrived, where physical AI and autonomous AI agents are fundamentally reinventing how the world designs, engineers and manufactures.” He described NVIDIA’s full-stac...
