Tata Electronics and ASML Sign MoU for Dholera 300mm Semiconductor Chip Fab in Presence of PM Modi and Dutch PM
Tata Electronics and ASML have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support the establishment and ramp-up of Tata Electronics’ 300 mm semiconductor fabrication plant in Dholera, Gujarat. The MoU was signed in the presence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands.
ASML will supply its suite of lithography tools and solutions for the facility, described as India’s first commercial 300 mm Fab. The partnership includes deployment of advanced lithography technologies, training of local talent, lithography-specific skill development, supply chain resilience measures, and development of R&D infrastructure.
The agreement forms part of the strategic collaboration between India and the Netherlands in semiconductor technology. It was noted as one of the outcomes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the Netherlands.

Tata Electronics is developing the Dholera facility with a planned investment of US$11 billion.
