Quest Global, a pure-play engineering services company, has appointed Richard (Rick) Bergman as President and Global Business Head of its Semiconductor vertical.
In this role, Bergman will shape the division’s long-term strategy, work to accelerate revenue growth, and strengthen relationships with global customers. His responsibilities include developing a multi-year growth roadmap, delivering high-impact and transformational engineering solutions particularly in AI, automotive, and industrial sectors, and promoting a culture of innovation and operational excellence to address next-generation engineering requirements.
Ajit Prabhu, Co-Founder and CEO of Quest Global, stated that the semiconductor industry is at a turning point due to AI, system innovation, and shifting supply chains. He noted Bergman’s leadership experience in semiconductors and computing, his ability to scale organizations, and his skill in building long-term customer relationships. Prabhu described the appointment as an indication of the company’s commitment to expanding this vertical while maintaining its position as a trusted engineering partner.
Bergman commented that semiconductors serve as foundational enablers for innovation in areas including AI, high-performance computing, automotive, communications, and industrial systems. He cited Quest Global’s combination of deep engineering expertise, global scale, and long-term partnership approach as a key factor in joining the company. He said his focus will be on assisting customers with their most critical engineering challenges amid rising industry complexity while developing a scalable business.
Bergman brings more than two decades of leadership experience in semiconductors, computing, graphics, and advanced technology platforms. His most recent position was President and CEO of Kymeta Corporation. Prior roles include senior leadership positions at AMD, Synaptics, and ATI Technologies, where he has managed multi-billion-dollar businesses, handled major acquisitions, and developed global teams.
The appointment reflects Quest Global’s effort to strengthen leadership in its Semiconductor business and align with changing customer requirements in the sector.
