Synaptics announced the appointment of Venkatesh (Venk) Nathamuni to its Board of Directors and as a member of the Audit Committee. The Board appointed Nathamuni on December 29, 2025, with his service commencing on January 1, 2026. This increased the Board size from eight to nine directors.
Nathamuni has more than 30 years of leadership experience in corporate finance, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and public company governance. He has held senior executive positions at Cirrus Logic, Arista Networks,and Maxim Integrated Products, Earlier in his career, he served as a semiconductor equity research analyst at J.P. Morgan.
He currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Jacobs Solutions Inc., a global professional services company.
Nathamuni holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from SUNY Stony Brook, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University.
Nelson Chan, Chairman of the Board, stated that Nathamuni brings semiconductor industry experience, financial leadership, and public company governance expertise, which will support oversight of Synaptics’ strategy, financial discipline, and risk management.
Rahul Patel, President and CEO, noted that Nathamuni’s financial leadership, strategic insight, and experience in the semiconductor industry and its markets will contribute as the company executes its growth strategy.
Nathamuni stated that he is honored to join the Board and looks forward to contributing to the company’s focus on disciplined growth, financial oversight, and strong governance.
