AONDevices Edge AI Partnerships Enable Low-Power Voice Remotes, Sound Detection, and Safety Wearables at CES 2026
AONDevices and Realtek Semiconductor have announced a collaboration to develop a next-generation Voice Smart Remote platform using the AON1100 M3 processor, AONx360 Base, AONx360 Pro, and Realtek’s BLE chipset and cloud-streaming software stack.
The platform provides super-low-power Edge AI with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity for on-device wake-word detection, voice commands, acoustic event detection, motion sensing, and user personalization at microwatt-level power. It includes low-power BLE for device control and optional cloud streaming. Applications include TV and media remotes, smart-home controllers, and IoT accessories. Multiple Voice Smart Remote designs are under development.
The AONx360 Base and AONx360 Pro support dataset preparation, model generation, training, tuning, and real-time validation.
Mouna Elkhatib, CEO and CTO of AONDevices, stated that the integration with Realtek’s BLE chip and software stack provides OEMs a path from hands-free voice remotes to AI-driven controllers.
Yee-Wei Huang, Realtek’s vice president and spokesperson, noted that the RTL8762D and RTL8762E BLE solutions target energy efficiency for battery-operated devices.
In a separate development, AONDevices, Inc. and InvenSense, a TDK group company, have introduced an always-on voice and sound detection platform combining the AON...
