onsemi FORVIA HELLA Long-Term Agreement on T10 MOSFET Technology

onsemi announced the extension of its strategic engagement with FORVIA HELLA through a new long-term agreement for the adoption of onsemi’s PowerTrench T10 MOSFET technology in FORVIA HELLA’s advanced automotive platforms.

The PowerTrench T10 MOSFET technology provides low conduction and switching losses, higher power density in a compact footprint, reduced output capacitance, lower drain-to-source resistance, and lower gate charge. The T10 power MOSFETs are manufactured at onsemi’s facility in East Fishkill, NY.

Sven Hoenecke, Executive Vice President, Purchasing, FORVIA HELLA, stated that onsemi’s next-generation MOSFETs enable advanced automotive platforms and allow offering solutions with efficiency and reliability for electrification and modern automotive systems.

Simon Keeton, Group President, Power Solutions Group, onsemi, stated that the extension reflects a 25-year collaboration and that the T10 power MOSFETs will support electrified and software-defined vehicles where efficiency, performance, and scalability are required.

The collaboration addresses vehicle electrification and demands for higher-performing, compact, and cost-effective power systems in automated driving, safety, and electrification applications.
