Kandou AI Announces Leadership Changes: New CEO, CTO, and COO to Drive AI Interconnect and CXL Solutions for Inference and Training Cost Reduction

Kandou AI, formerly known as Kandou, has appointed Srujan Linga as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Taher Madraswala as Chief Operating Officer (COO), and transitioned founder Amin Shokrollahi from CEO to Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

The company's vision focuses on using its interconnect technology to enable low-cost, scalable AI systems through partnerships with customers. Kandou AI is developing AI fabric solutions based on its Copper MIMO Link technology, which has been shipping in large volumes since 2018. These solutions target four markets: AI Inference, AI Training, CXL-based memory platforms, and Rack connectivity.

The interconnect technologies feature low power, low latency, and high bandwidth, extending chip-to-chip communication links across the PCB. This enables new system architectures that:

- Reduce the cost of AI inference systems by up to 12x
- Provide highest capacity tier-2 memory in AI training clusters
- Enable usage of low-cost servers for large in-memory databases, reducing capex by up to 2.5x
- Increase reliability and reduce mean repair time of co-packaged optics solutions by over 10x

Srujan Linga, the new CEO, previously served as Senior Investment and Financial Structuring Director of the CHIPS for America program at the U.S. Department of Commerce, contributing to U.S. leadership in advanced semiconductor manuf...
