Certus Semiconductor Adopts Siemens Solido AI-Powered EDA for Automotive, Aerospace and AI IO/ESD IP Development
Certus Semiconductor has implemented Siemens’ Solido custom IC design software suite to accelerate development and verification of IO libraries, electrostatic discharge (ESD) solutions, and analog IP.
The adopted tools include:
- Solido Design Environment for nominal and variation-aware design verification
- Solido Characterization Suite for .lib production and verification
- Solido IP Validation Suite for IP quality assurance across design views
- Solido Simulation Suite for SPICE-accurate verification
The solutions target automotive, aerospace, mobile, consumer electronics, industrial, AI, and IoT applications, including specialty ESD for RF, transceiver, and high-voltage designs, multi-protocol IOs, RF radios, and analog IP such as data converters, oscillators, and regulators.
Certus operates as a GlobalFoundries IP Alliance partner, Silicon Catalyst in-kind partner, and TSMC Open Innovation Platform Alliance partner.
Stephen Fairbanks, CEO of Certus Semiconductor, stated: “Our collaboration with Siemens enables us to enhance our methodologies tremendously with its custom IC verification technologies to keep pace with the increasing challenges of advanced process nodes and market demand for our products and services.”
Amit Gupta, senior vice president and general manager of Siemens EDA, stated: “Certus...
