Baya Systems and Tenstorrent Showcase Interoperable AI Compute Solution, Join OCA Ecosystem
Baya Systems has announced a collaboration with Tenstorrent, demonstrating interoperability between Baya’s WeaveIP fabric and Tenstorrent’s TT-Ascalon RISC-V-based processor portfolio. Additionally, Baya Systems has joined Tenstorrent’s Open Chiplet Atlas Architecture (OCAA) as one of its first members. The partnership focuses on enabling flexible, scalable, and customizable compute systems for AI and high-performance computing applications.
The integration of Baya’s chiplet-ready interconnect IP with Tenstorrent’s Ascalon cores allows system architects to design optimized compute platforms from core to chiplet to system level. The companies have published a joint white paper detailing the performance, configurability, and scalability of this solution. This follows a previous white paper on AI fabrics released in June. Demonstrations highlight how the WeaveIP fabric supports data-driven system optimization, adapting to Tenstorrent’s application requirements for future-proof scalability and faster time-to-market with reduced risk.
Keith Witek, COO of Tenstorrent, emphasized the importance of interoperability in chiplet-based systems, noting that Baya’s WeaveIP fabric connects Ascalon processors effectively. Dr. Sailesh Kumar, CEO of Baya Systems, stated that the collaboration supports scalable compute systems built from ...
