At electronica India 2025, Delvitech AI Vision Systems, led by CEO Roberto Gatti talked about their AI-native platforms designed for quality inspection in electronics and semiconductor manufacturing. These platforms address the complexities of modern PCB production by prioritizing ease of use, scalability, and flexibility.

The systems utilize convolutional neural networks to process 40 to 80 gigabits of data per second, capturing 3D information and image characteristics similar to human vision. This enables automatic program generation, reducing manual input and allowing personnel to focus on critical tasks. The neural networks continuously learn without losing prior knowledge, improving defect detection and reducing false positives, with accuracy approaching 100% depending on quality standards.

The platforms feature predictive capabilities to identify process deviations during production, minimizing errors and repairs to support cost-efficient manufacturing. In November, Delvitech implemented its first global AI-based inspection lines for a key customer in India, with further installations planned and results to be detailed in a forthcoming white paper.
