Girish Baliga Showcases Keysight’s Star MXR Oscilloscope at electronica India 2025

At the electronica India event on September 18, 2025, at the BIEC in Bangalore, Srinivasa Reddy N, Editor of EEHerald, had a brief chat with Girish Baliga, General Manager of Industry Marketing at Keysight Technologies. Girish shares few bytes on India’s growing electronics market and Keysight’s testing solutions, specifically the MXR series oscilloscope.

Srinivasa noted the strong growth in India’s market and asked Girish about opportunities for Keysight’s products and their targeted applications. Girish explained that Keysight is a leader in electronic instrumentation, covering a wide range of signal measurements. “We cover everything from DC to light” he said, referring to their broad scope.

Keysight showcased general-purpose and application-specific instruments at the event. Girish highlighted specifically the MXR series oscilloscope, a mid-to-high-segment device that performs both basic and specialized measurements, including electrical and protocol-based tests. It supports standards like I2C, I2S, automotive protocols such as CAN, LIN, and FlexRay, and high-frequency protocols like PCI Express and USB. “It handles simple measurements to bus interfaces, covering most use cases,” Girish noted.
