Monk9 Tech Appoints Dr. Madakasira Vijayaraghavan as CTO to Drive Semiconductor Innovation in India

Monk9 Tech Private Limited, a semiconductor design and fabrication company based in Rajkot, Gujarat, has appointed Dr. Madakasira Vijayaraghavan as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The company announced his role to guide future endeavors, leveraging his extensive experience in the semiconductor industry.

Dr. Vijayaraghavan previously served as Chief Technology Officer at the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, and as a senior scientist at NXP Semiconductors and Philips Research Laboratories. His work includes BiCMOS integration, metal emitters, nanowires, MEMS, and nanotechnology processing. He conducted postdoctoral research at French National Laboratories (CNRS) in Paris from 1999 to 2000, focusing on quantum structures. Dr. Vijayaraghavan holds a Ph.D. in Semiconductor Physics from IISc, where his research centered on the characterization of 2DEG and 2DHG in Si and SiGe heterostructures.
