North American PCB Industry Sees 20.7% Shipment Surge in July 2025, Book-to-Bill Ratio Holds at 1.00

Global Electronics Association released its July 2025 North American Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Statistical Program results, revealing significant growth in shipments and bookings. The book-to-bill ratio for July stood at 1.00, indicating a balance between orders and shipments.

North American PCB shipments in July 2025 increased by 20.7% compared to July 2024. Month-over-month, shipments rose by 11.3% from June 2025. Year-to-date (YTD) shipments for July showed a 7.6% increase compared to the same period last year.

PCB bookings in July 2025 grew by 22.2% year-over-year but declined by 5.5% compared to June 2025. YTD bookings for July were up 17.2% compared to the same period in 2024.

Shawn DuBravac, chief economist at the Global Electronics Association, noted that the rise in shipments brought the book-to-bill ratio into balance, reflecting strong demand and aligned output.
