Cadence completed acquisition of the Arm Artisan foundation IP business. The acquired assets include standard cell libraries, memory compilers, and general-purpose I/Os (GPIOs) optimized for advanced process nodes at leading foundries. This acquisition expands Cadence’s design IP portfolio, which encompasses protocol and interface IP, memory interface IP, and SerDes IP for advanced nodes, to support system-on-chip (SoC) designs for leading foundry processes. The move aims to assist customers in reducing time to market and addressing cost, power, and performance requirements. The acquisition is expected to have no significant impact on Cadence’s revenue or earnings for the current year.
