Honeywell Announces Solstice Advanced Materials Board for 2025 Spin-Off
Honeywell has revealed the future Board of Directors for Solstice Advanced Materials, a specialty materials company set to become independent following its spin-off from Honeywell in the fourth quarter of 2025. Solstice will focus on refrigerants, semiconductor materials, protective fibers, and healthcare packaging solutions.
The 10-member board will be led by Dr. Rajeev Gautam, former President and CEO of Honeywell’s Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) business, as Independent Chair. David Sewell, President and CEO of Solstice Advanced Materials, will also serve on the board, joined by leaders with extensive experience in industrial, technology, chemicals, and materials sectors.
Vimal Kapur, Chairman and CEO of Honeywell, stated that the board’s diverse expertise will position Solstice to drive growth and strengthen customer relationships. Sewell emphasized the company’s strategic vision, focusing on innovation, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
The board includes:
