QuickLogic Appoints AI and Semiconductor Veteran Ron Shelton to Board of Directors

 QuickLogic announced the appointment of Ron Shelton to its Board of Directors, effective August 7, 2025. Shelton will also serve as Chair of the Audit Committee.

Shelton brings over 25 years of financial and operational leadership experience. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Syntiant Corp., a company specializing in AI sensors, processors, and software models for edge applications. Previously, he held CFO positions at Navitas Semiconductor, Adesto Technologies, GigOptix, and Cirrus Logic, with experience across public companies and private startups. Shelton holds a BA in Economics from Stanford University.

Shelton noted his intent to support QuickLogic’s growth in eFPGA Hard IP solutions and its focus on customer success. Michael R. Farese, Chairman of QuickLogic’s Board, stated that Shelton’s financial expertise and business experience will contribute to the company’s expansion in eFPGA IP licensing, FPGA Storefront business, and markets such as aerospace, defense, and high-reliability sectors.
