Natcast Unveils NSTC EUV Accelerator at NY CREATES’ Albany NanoTech Complex, Bolstering U.S. Semiconductor Innovation
Natcast, the non-profit entity designated by the U.S. Department of Commerce to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) under the CHIPS and Science Act, marked the grand opening of the CHIPS for America Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) Accelerator at NY CREATES’ Albany NanoTech Complex on July 14, 2025. The facility, which began operations on July 1, 2025, is one of three NSTC flagship research and development (R&D) facilities in the United States.
The EUV Accelerator provides researchers from Natcast, NSTC Members, and NY CREATES access to EUV lithography tools, including standard numerical aperture (NA) EUV systems currently available and high NA EUV systems expected in 2026. The facility supports collaborative R&D to accelerate the commercialization of advanced semiconductor technologies in US.
