Aimtron Electronics Raises ₹100 Crore for New High-Tech Manufacturing Facility in India
Aimtron Electronics Limited, an Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) company, has secured approximately ₹100 crore through the issuance of 14,79,000 convertible warrants priced at ₹666 each, totaling nearly ₹98.5 crore. The funding round, approved by the company’s board, included participation from the promoter group, comprising Mukesh Vasani and Nirmal Vasani, as well as several institutional investors. Each warrant is convertible into one equity share.
The capital will finance a new greenfield manufacturing facility on a 3-acre site, designed to enhance Aimtron’s production capacity and support its box-build and system-level integration business. The facility will incorporate up to five advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lines and comprehensive assembly capabilities, aligning with the company’s goal of achieving ₹1,000 crore in revenue.
Mukesh Vasani, CEO of Aimtron Electronics, stated that the investment will establish a production hub focused on supporting India’s self-reliance goals.
