SEMI and TechSearch International Release 2025 Worldwide Semiconductor Assembly & Test Facility Database

SEMI and TechSearch International have released the 2025 edition of the Worldwide Semiconductor Assembly & Test Facility Database, a comprehensive resource tracking global assembly and test facilities operated by integrated device manufacturers (IDMs) and outsourced semiconductor assembly and test providers (OSATs).

The database covers 750 facilities worldwide, an increase of 70 sites from the 2024 edition. It includes new data columns detailing device types such as memories, logic/analog ICs, power devices, RF/MEMS chips, and CMOS image sensors. Each facility is assigned a unique Facility ID, and some entries now include the startup year. The database also provides updated information on facility status, ownership, location, plant type, production capabilities, and certification status.

Clark Tseng, Senior Director of Market Intelligence at SEMI, noted that the 2025 edition reflects the growth and complexity of the global semiconductor supply chain, offering detailed insights into packaging and testing capabilities, technology adoption, and regional trends.
