Semiconductor Startup Mindgrove Technologies partner with Bosch Global Software Technologies

IIT Madras-incubated semiconductor startup Mindgrove Technologies has signed an MoU with Bosch Global Software Technologies to explore joint go-to-market opportunities. Bosch will utilize Mindgrove’s chips across embedded automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics applications.

Based in Chennai, Mindgrove designs innovative System-on-Chips (SoCs) for Indian and global markets. Its flagship product, Secure IoT, a high-performance microcontroller chip built on the RISC-V-based SHAKTI core, operates at 700MHz on a 28nm node. It delivers cost-effective, secure solutions for IoT, vision systems, AI inferencing, and signal processing, supporting applications like smartwatches, smart locks, and EV battery management with hardware encryption and versatile IO peripherals.

Media reports indicate Bosch will initially evaluate Mindgrove’s chips internally, recommending them to customers for commercial applications after successful field deployments. This partnership aims to facilitate mutual market expansion and technology exchange.
