MEMS Market Reaches $15.4 Billion in 2024, Forecast to Grow to $19.2 Billion by 2030

On June 19, 2025, Yole Group released its Status of the MEMS Industry 2025 report, detailing a 5% year-over-year increase in global MEMS revenue, reaching $15.4 billion in 2024, with 31 billion units shipped. The report projects a 3.7% CAGR, with the market expected to reach $19.2 billion by 2030. The analysis highlights market recovery following a challenging 2023 marked by excess inventory, with 2024 showing stabilization and growth.

Bosch led the market with $2 billion in revenue, a 12% year-over-year increase, driven by its smart sensor portfolio and strong positioning in high-end systems. Broadcom and Qorvo ranked second and third, respectively, as RF MEMS leaders. Broadcom’s revenue remained flat due to major OEMs shifting from its FBAR RF technology, with only Apple continuing its use in flagship phones. Qorvo maintained its position by supplying BAW-SMR filters to OEMs like Samsung, Oppo, Apple, and Xiaomi. TDK secured fourth place with steady performance in motion sensors for consumer electronics, particularly smartphones and wearables. STMicroelectronics, in sixth, recovered from the inventory downturn and focused on inertial sensors for smartphones while forming manufacturing partnerships with companies like NXP, USound, and Chirp to support AR/VR and wearable techn...
