SEMI, announced that SEMICON West 2025 will take place in Phoenix, Arizona, from October 7-9 at the Phoenix Convention Center. The event is supported by strategic partnerships with the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC), and Visit Phoenix. Registration is open, with early-bird rates available until June 27.
The event will address industry priorities such as advanced manufacturing, supply chain resilience, sustainability, and workforce development, under the theme “Stronger Together – Shaping a Sustainable Future in Talent, Technology, and Trade.” It will feature networking opportunities with over 700 companies across two levels of the convention center. The exhibition, expanded by approximately 25% compared to 2024, sold out in November 2024, with 285 companies on the waiting list.
Program highlights include the CEO Summit Keynotes with industry and government leaders discussing global semiconductor trends, the SEMI Workforce Development Pavilion connecting job seekers with employers, and Focused Forums on topics like Cybersecurity, Smart Data/AI, Smart Manufacturing, Smart Mobility, Smart MedTech, and Sustainability. Technical Tracks will cover areas such as the Test Vision Symposium and Advanced Packaging. Supply Chain Sessions will focus on global supply chain resilience, while the SEMI Market Symposium and Bulls and Bears Panel will provide market analysis and forecasts. The SEMI Leaders & Legends Honors Dinner at the Heard Museum will recognize industry executives and present the inaugural 2025 SEMI Silicon Medal, with attendees including SEMI member executives and Arizona public officials. Additional features include Canyon on Third, an open-air networking hub, and SEMIquest, a pop-up exhibition for students, educators, and families.
Since 2020, Arizona has recorded over 40 semiconductor expansions, $202 billion in capital investment, and nearly 16,000 industry jobs. Companies such as Intel, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), Amkor, and over 100 others in the semiconductor ecosystem operate in the state.
