International Humanoid Olympiad to debut in Olympia, Greece
The first International Humanoid Olympiad will take place from August 29 to September 2, 2025, at the International Olympic Academy in Olympia, Greece. The event, initiated by Acumino and co-organized with Endeavor Greece, will feature humanoid robots in demonstrations and Olympic-inspired games, alongside expert talks and workshops on robotics and AI.
The Olympiad includes interactive demonstrations where attendees can observe and engage with humanoid robots to understand their AI-driven movement, adaptability, and problem-solving capabilities. Expert talks will cover topics such as physical intelligence, human-robot collaboration, and ethical technology. Workshops will focus on physical AI applications in robotics and provide hands-on opportunities for participants, including students and children, to build robots under expert guidance, with no prior experience required. Olympic-inspired games will involve humanoids competing in activities like sprinting, jumping, and javelin throwing to test their dexterity, agility, and sensorimotor coordination.
The event aims to explore the role of AI and robotics in shaping the future and foster discussions on designing a collaborative future between humans and machines. It will bring together researchers, engineers, students, and others in the field.
