Mysore based Kaynes Technology acquires Canadian EMS company August Electronics
August Electronics Inc., a Calgary-based provider of electronics manufacturing services, has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Kaynes Canada Limited, a subsidiary of Kaynes Technology India Limited, an Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) company based out of Mysore, India. The transaction is expected to close by the end of May 2025, pending regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
August Electronics specializes in high-reliability electronics manufacturing for industries including energy, medical, industrial, and telecommunications, supporting clients throughout the product development lifecycle. Following the acquisition, August Electronics will operate as part of the Kaynes Technology group, maintaining its existing management team, led by CEO Tanya Korenda, to ensure business continuity. Co-founders Jack Francis (President) and Peter Wilson will step down from their roles post-acquisition.
