Cyient creates semiconductor subsidiary to align with emerging market opportunity and India's vision

Hyderabad based leading engineering services company Cyient unveiled its wholly-owned semiconductor subsidiary, Cyient Semiconductors. The announcement, made on April 8, 2025, underscores Cyient’s ambition to capitalize on the rapidly expanding $600 billion semiconductor market, projected to reach $2 trillion by 2032. Cyient is already a leading player in the ASIC space of semiconductor design with established capability in other areas.

Cyient Semiconductors will build on the parent company’s 25+ years of expertise in semiconductor design, focusing on delivering end-to-end Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) turnkey solutions and integrated circuit (IC) design services. The subsidiary aims to serve high-demand sectors including automotive, industrial automation, telecommunications, and healthcare, leveraging Cyient’s established capabilities and global footprint across India, the U.S., Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Taiwan.
