Every Indian has a stake in India’s semiconductor fab and ecosystem

The cumulative intelligence of the attendees at the Nano Electronics Roadshow event, recently concluded in Bangalore on 27th March, can fly through the roof. This is what the person who was anchoring the event said about top-notch scientists and researchers from Indian premium institutes, who formed the major chunk of the audience. It is not an exaggeration if you look at the cutting-edge research they have done in nanoelectronics and semiconductors. The event "Nano Electronics Roadshow," held at IISc on 27th Mar 2025, was a platform for researchers from the IISc and five IITs to connect with the commercial world, including venture capitalists. The Roadshow was inaugurated by S Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY, along with Abhishek Singh, Additional Secretary, MeitY. The roadshow included 48 technology demonstrations by students from the Nano Centers, alongside discussions on industry challenges.
