Winners of Qualcomm Design in India Challenge 2023: Ayati, Rymo and SIAMAF

Qualcomm announced winners of its eighth edition of the Qualcomm Design in India Challenge, an India specific pioneering hardware startup incubation program. Launched in collaboration with Nasscom and Startup India, this initiative aims to foster innovation and propel India's digital economy forward. Among the winners are startups innovating in the field of medical technology.

Ayati Devices Private Limited, Rymo Technologies Private Limited, and SIAMAF Healthcare Private Limited emerged as the top winners, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in medical imaging, physical rehabilitation, and cancer detection, respectively.

Ayati Devices developed a laser-based medical imaging device for real-time microcirculation visualization and quantification is receiving a Rs. 50 Lakh grant award.

Rymo Technologies showcased computer vision and AI/ML technology to integrate with physical rehabilitation solution is the runner receiving a Rs 30 Lakh grant award.

SIAMAF Healthcare has come out with AI/ML enabled MafPro device platform, an ultrasensitive hand-held magnetic probe system for detecting cancer staging, localization and margins, bagged the 2nd runner up spot receiving a Rs 20 Lakh grant award.

Livsense Technologies Private Limited - World’s first green AI platform to address the ESG challenges of safety and sustainability.
MARCN Technologies Private Limited - India's first battery integrated DC charging solution provider.
Savemom Private Limited - 5G enabled Multi vital modular medical wearable for pregnant women and children.
Thryv Mobility Private Limited - A reconfigurable smart electric scooter that can be used by wheelchair users and able people which can be deployed in fleets.
Trebirth Private Limited - Centralized radar-based monitoring system for stem borer detection in vineyards.
Zebu Intelligent Systems Private Limited - An affordable 3D mapping solution for autonomous mobile robots.


The Qualcomm Design in India Challenge witnessed a diverse array of solutions across various sectors including medtech, robotics, automotive, AR/VR, AI/ML, and IoT. From augmented reality platforms to smart electric vehicle instruments and AI-powered medical wearables, the finalists showcased the breadth and depth of India's entrepreneurial spirit and technological innovation.

Through the program, finalists received grants up to INR3.2 lakh , business mentorship, and access to engineering support and state-of-the-art facilities at the Qualcomm Innovation Lab. They also benefited from incentives for patent filing, opportunities for business development, and connections with industry leaders, further empowering them to scale and commercialize their innovations.
