Sahasra Semiconductors begin ATMP chip production in India

Rajasthan, India based Sahasra Semiconductors becomes the first Indian company to start commercial ATMP (assembly, testing, marking, and packaging) production of made-in-India memory chips. Sahasra has a semiconductor assembly, testing, and packaging unit located in Rajasthan's Bhiwadi.

Amrit Manwani, Managing Director of Sahasra Group said "We have truly become the first company to sell made-in-India micro-SD cards, and the response we have received on e-commerce platforms has been phenomenal.”

Sahasra Semiconductors is one of the local local Indian companies approved by Government for the Specified Electronic Components Segment under the PLI Scheme and SPECS schemes. Sahasra Group through its other entities is already manufacturing of USB Drives, Micro SD cards and SSD’s for its Indian and overseas OEM customers.

Sahasra group is also into Electronics Manufacturing Services, PCB Manufacturing, IT Products & Motherboards and LED Lighting & Solar Systems. Sahasra is discussing with Metavisio to partner with each other for Made in India Laptops and Tablets.
