GF and STMicro finalize 300mm fab agreement with financial support from French Govt.
GlobalFoundries and STMicroelectronics have concluded the agreement to create a new, jointly-operated, high-volume semiconductor manufacturing facility in Crolles (France), which was announced on 11 July 2022. France government to provide € 2.9 billion in state aid to help support an investment of 7.5 billion Euros by GlobalFoundries and STMicroelectronics to build this advanced FDSOI fab.
