The Semiconductor and Component Names Shaping India's Electronics Design and Manufacturing Floor

While Semicon India put fabs and fab-equipment makers in the spotlight in New Delhi, the electronica India and productronica India 2026 witnessed semiconductor and component companies that actually put chips into the products Indian OEMs build.

electronica India and productronica India 2026 opened at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre under the theme India's Powerplay in Electronics, organised by Messe Muenchen India across 60,000 square metres of gross exhibition space, the event featured more than 750 exhibitors from over 30 countries  including Germany, China, France, Italy, UK, Japan, Israel and the US and drew an expected 50,000-plus business visitors from more than 50 countries. Karnataka Minister M. B. Patil inaugurated the show alongside state officials and Japan's Consul-General, with cricketer KL Rahul serving as brand ambassador, and dedicated country pavilions represented Taiwan, Germany, Japan and China on the exhibition floor.

Several of the event's most substantive company presentations came from semiconductor and component makers using the platform to talk directly to India's system designers rather than to its fab builders.
