Set the numbers from electronica India and productronica India 2026 alongside those from Semicon India 2026, and a single story emerges: in roughly four years, India's electronics and semiconductor design and manufacturing scenario has moved from policy announcements to commercial production lines  and the events built to serve the industry have had to restructure themselves just to keep pace. Electronics production has started earlier followed by semiconductor production, where packaging taking lead over wafer fab.

It is easy to lose the scale of the shift inside any single week's announcements. Viewed across four years, though, the trajectory is unambiguous. India's original Semicon India Programme launched in 2021 with an outlay of ₹76,000 crore.
