Qualcomm Names Wassim Chourbaji SVP and President of Qualcomm EMEA

Qualcomm has appointed Wassim Chourbaji as senior vice president and president of its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) business, effective immediately. In the role, Chourbaji will lead and execute Qualcomm's regional strategy and help advance the company's broader strategic priorities across that territory.

 

Chourbaji has spent more than 20 years at Qualcomm, holding various leadership roles across the company. Most recently, he served as president of Qualcomm Middle East and Africa and led the company's government affairs work across the broader EMEA region.

 

The appointment comes as Enrico Salvatori, who has led Qualcomm's EMEA business for more than two decades, has decided to retire from the company in June 2027 after 25 years there. Effective immediately, Salvatori will take on the role of Chairman and will continue leading Qualcomm's EMEA Automotive business until his retirement.
