Altera Announces Innovators Day Event Series for FPGA Developers
Altera Corporation has announced the schedule for its Innovators Day event series, running across North America, Asia, and Europe between October 2026 and February 2027. Aimed at FPGA developers, system architects, and engineers, the events will showcase recent developments in programmable computing, chips that can be reconfigured for different tasks after manufacturing, meant to help attendees speed up development of AI infrastructure, intelligent edge systems, communications platforms, and autonomous machines.
The series brings together Altera engineers, industry experts, and a broader network of FPGA ecosystem partners across nine locations worldwide, aiming to show how programmable hardware paired with AI-powered development tools can make design work faster and simpler as demand grows for AI, intelligent infrastructure, and real-time computing.
Through technical sessions and live demonstrations, attendees, whether experienced FPGA designers or newcomers to programmable hardware, will get practical techniques, modern development approaches, and proven design methods they can apply directly to real projects. Sessions are organized around several themes: accelerating AI infrastructure, where programmable computing complements CPUs and GPUs by offering predictable, low-latency processing well suited to AI inference; building flexible communications networks th...
