Marvell to Invest $250 Million in India Over Three Years, Expanding Bangalore and Hyderabad Operations

Marvell Technology announced plans to invest $250 million in India over the next three years to expand its technology, talent, and infrastructure capabilities. The announcement was made as the company marks 20 years of engineering operations in the country.
 
The investment includes doubling headcount over the next three years, opening a new wing at its Bangalore facility, and expanding its presence in Hyderabad. These steps are intended to support design and development of advanced semiconductor solutions for AI, cloud, and data infrastructure applications, while strengthening Marvell’s global innovation network.
 
Marvell began operations in Bangalore in 2006. India now serves as the company’s second-largest R&D organization worldwide. Engineering teams in Bangalore, Pune, and Hyderabad focus on advanced process technologies (2nm and beyond), high-speed analog IP, subsystem design, software/firmware development, and end-to-end silicon development. The India teams contribute to multiple technology platforms, hold patents, and apply advanced AI tools to support engineering productivity.
