The combined company is being positioned as offering the industry's most complete platform for secure management and control of computing infrastructure, and Lattice says the deal is expected to boost gross margin, free cash flow, and non-GAAP earnings per share, supporting its goal of reaching a $1 billion or greater annual revenue run rate by the end of 2026.

The acquisition pairs Lattice's expertise in low-power FPGAs, programmable chips that can be reconfigured for different tasks after manufacturing, with AMI's platform firmware and infrastructure management technology, which is widely used in cloud and AI systems. Together, the combined company expands Lattice's technical capabilities, scale, and customer base, positioning it to serve hyperscalers, OEMs, ODMs, and neocloud providers, who increasingly need hardware and firmware to work together seamlessly to meet the security, power, and performance demands of modern AI infrastructure.

Ford Tamer, president and CEO of Lattice Semiconductor, said the closing of the deal marks a new chapter for both companies, offering customers a combined set of low-power programmable FPGA and firmware solutions, and said Lattice remains committed to the neutrality and openness that AMI and Lattice customers have relied on.
