|

AMD introduced its next-generation AI infrastructure and physical AI portfolio at Advancing AI 2026, including the AMD Helios rack-scale solutions, 6th Gen AMD EPYC CPUs, AMD Instinct MI400 Series GPUs, AMD Ryzen AI Embedded X100 processors, and the AMD Kria AI SOM and Robotics Developer Platform.

The company positioned the launches as addressing accelerating compute demand across training, inference, and agentic workloads, with AI driving its total addressable market to approximately $2 trillion by 2030.

AMD Helios Rack-Scale Solutions
AMD Helios is described as the company’s first rack-scale AI solution and the world’s most powerful AI rack, now in production for deployment by leading AI companies at gigawatt scale. Each rack integrates 72 AMD Instinct MI455X GPUs and 18 6th Gen AMD EPYC “Venice” CPUs, connected via AMD Pensando networking and supported by AMD ROCm open software. It delivers up to 30% more inference tokens per dollar than the leading competitive solution.

OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Microsoft, Oracle, HUMAIN, Tensorwave, Vultr, and Cirrascale are among the companies selecting or testing Helios. Systems will be available from OEMs including Bull, HPE, Lenovo, and Supermicro, as well as partners Sanmina and Wiwynn.
