Ambiq Expands Use of ChipAgents Agentic AI Platform for Chip Design and Verification

|

ChipAgents, a provider of agentic AI for semiconductor engineering, has announced that Ambiq, known for its ultra-low-power Edge AI semiconductor solutions, has expanded its deployment of the ChipAgents platform following a successful evaluation period. The expanded rollout reflects growing adoption of AI-native engineering tools as semiconductor companies look for new approaches to developing increasingly complex products.

ChipAgents builds agentic AI purpose-built for semiconductor engineering. Its platform is designed to help engineering teams work more efficiently across design and verification workflows by interpreting specifications, RTL, simulation data, waveforms, and other engineering artifacts. It allows engineers to automate repetitive tasks, speed up debugging, and focus more on solving complex design challenges.

William Wang, Founder and CEO of ChipAgents, said AI is fundamentally changing how semiconductor products are designed and verified. He said engineering teams need more than general-purpose AI assistants, they need AI that understands the specific workflows involved in semiconductor development and can meaningfully support experienced engineers. He said ChipAgents is proud to work with Ambiq, whose focus on engineering innovation for low-power design makes it a strong partner for advancing agentic AI in production semiconductor development....
