India-Finland Joint Innovation Call 2026 Covers Advanced Electronics and Semiconductor tech

cThe Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, and Business Finland have announced the India-Finland Joint Innovation Call 2026, covering many deep tech areas including focus on India’s Advanced Electronics Communications and Semiconductors Market. The Technology Development Board (TDB) will implement the call on behalf of DST. The submission deadline is 28 August 2026.

Finland’s national quantum strategy and semiconductor initiative address areas where India seeks sovereign capacity. The call supports collaborative projects in Microelectronics & Power Electronics, including MEMS and sensors, alongside Sustainable Energy and Advanced Digital Technologies.

Indian industries, startups, R&D organizations, and academia can partner with Finnish entities on industry-driven projects in these fields. The call covers aspects of semiconductor manufacturing and services delivery chain, as well as 5G/6G networks.

India’s semiconductor ecosystem involves the government’s €8+ billion semiconductor mission and incentives for chip design and manufacturing.
