onsemi Signs Agreements to Divest Tarlac Philippines and Mountain Top Pennsylvania Manufacturing Facilities

onsemi has entered into definitive agreements to divest two manufacturing facilities as part of its Fab Right strategy. The moves are intended to improve the companywide manufacturing cost structure and support sustained gross margin expansion through ongoing optimization of its manufacturing footprint.

The Fab Right strategy focuses on continuous optimization of onsemi’s manufacturing operations by directing resources toward the most competitive, scalable and technology-aligned facilities across its global network.

Tarlac, Philippines 
onsemi has reached an agreement to divest the Tarlac facility to Greatek Electronics Inc., a Taiwan-based semiconductor company specializing in integrated circuit packaging and testing services. The transaction is expected to close within the next three to six months, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

The Tarlac site will continue operating as part of onsemi’s manufacturing network during the transition period. The companies have established a long-term supply agreement to support ongoing production and ensure continuity for customer commitments after the transaction closes.
