ZEISS Opens New Production and Office Building in Oberkochen for Semiconductor Operations

ZEISS Semiconductor Division has inaugurated a new production and office building at its headquarters in Oberkochen, Germany. The facility spans more than 23,000 square meters, equivalent to just over three football fields, and is designed for future growth.

ZEISS supplies critical optical components to ASML EUV lithography equipment. The ASML-ZEISS Group partnership highlights that innovation at scale results from collaboration rather than a single company. ZEISS’s expertise in optics has served as a cornerstone of the EUV journey, supporting advances in semiconductor innovation.

In a LinkedIn post, ZEISS stated: “Innovation doesn’t happen in silos, it is created when people, ideas, and capabilities connect. We are delighted to share one of our new production and office buildings at our headquarters in Oberkochen: more than 23,000 square meters designed for future growth, the size of just over three football fields. A space to innovate and ultimately cater to our customers.”
