Applied Materials Unveils SENZ Integrated Visual Platform for AI-Powered Smart Glasses
Applied Materials unveiled SENZ , an integrated ambient visual platform that combines waveguide optics, light engine, sensing, vision correction and electronic dimming technology in a single system designed for AI-powered next-generation display smart glasses.
The system is presented as a co-optimized solution intended to bring high-performance augmented reality displays to market faster. It delivers all core visual components as one cohesive system. According to the announcement, this approach addresses the smart glasses market’s historical constraints from fragmented supply chains and disparate components and eliminates traditional engineering tradeoffs between performance and form factor.
