EPC published a new DC-DC conversion handbook as a guide for power engineers showing how to achieve increase in efficiency and power density in datacom equipment and other power conversion applications using gallium nitride (GaN) power transistors. DC-DC Handbook provides details on use of high performance GaN technology by taking reader through step-by-step analysis of how to create power conversion solutions using GaN devices. The analysis makes direct performance comparisons with state-of-the-art silicon power transistors (MOSFETs) traditionally used in power conversion systems.
